Our campaign centers on "Onboard," a small-scale design conference that brings Ontario designers together to create and define their legacies with DIAC.

Ontario's design industry is hindered by a lack of cross-disciplinary collaboration, leading many professionals to work in silos. This isolation limits the exchange of ideas, stifling creativity and reducing the potential impact of design on the province's economic and cultural landscape.

How might we elevate DIAC's visibility and credibility by leveraging guerrilla marketing, impactful visual storytelling, and fostering community collaboration, while also empowering designers to engage in online challenges and community-driven projects?

DESIGN IS NOWHERE

Using unpolished visuals to promote the value of design is fresh and potentially groundbreaking. Designers, as both creators and consumers of high-quality visuals, will have their momentum disrupted by this unconventional approach, prompting a deeper appreciation of design's essence.

DESIGN IS EVERYWHERE

We emphasize design's crucial role by asking thought-provoking questions like "What if we remove design from our daily lives?". This approach highlights designers' importance and engages design and non-design communities.

DESIGN IS YOUR LEGACY

By imagining an Ontario without design, we emphasize its significance in the province's progress. Our work, big or small, is our lasting legacy to Ontario.
